Volunteering at St Francis Dalgarno Way

“I was really very nervous when I knocked on the door, and a small, dark-haired lady opened it. It took all the courage I had to say, ‘Hello here’s a gift from St Francis Church, Merry Christmas!’ The lady smiled at me, and said: ‘Thank you so much, this is the only present I’ll be receiving this year. I don’t have any family and no one will be visiting me’. I was reminded of just how important the Love Your Neighbour Campaign is. The lady kept thanking me again, saying how fortunate she was to receive the gift, but the truth is that I was the fortunate enough to take part in such a wonderful campaign.”
